Sara Sheffield

Sara is a retired librarian who worked in the school system for many years. She started taking adult education classes in art in the mid 1980’s.

She has attended art workshops in North Carolina, upstate New York, Hawaii, Southern France and Nova Scotia. Sara works in oil and watercolor mediums. She enjoys painting many subjects, and especially enjoys seascapes.

Her work can be found at McCourt’s Oceanside Studio and Retreat in Beaver Harbour, Liscomb Lodge in Liscomb Mills, and The Art Sales and Rental Society in Halifax. Her work is found in collections in Nova Scotia, Ontario, the United States, Italy and France.
