It has been said, “You don’t pick art, it picks you.”  I have to paint! No matter where I am or what I am doing, my heart is at my painting table. I am inspired by the detailed realism of the old artists and in my work are landscapes, seascapes, still life and people. My medium is oil and I paint in the fat over lean process. When the painting ‘pops’ out at me, I know I am finished.

  I have been painting for fifteen years, primarily self-taught, taking advantage of all the wonderful books and material available today. My paintings have been exhibited at the Sheet Harbour Library, the St. Michael’s Exhibit and St. James United Church Hall and are available at Three Ladies Craft and Gift Shoppe and McCourt Oceanside Retreat Studio.
