Janet started painting over 10 years ago. Her sister-in-law, who loved bird watching, had cancer, so she started painting birds so that her sister-in-law would have them in her room to look at because she loved nature.
 

She stopped painting for a few years then Sandy and Robert Moser gave her some wildlife photos which inspired her to start painting again. Janet prefers to paint in acrylics and she enjoys painting wildlife. She has taken wildlife art classes from Ron Decker for several years. Seeing the work of other artists inspires her to paint.

Janet has donated her work to the local school, and also to the school wrestling team and the local judo club.
